What you know best

You know your business from the inside: your clients’ tasks, the specifics of your services, your terms, the questions people ask you. No beautiful wording can replace that. That’s why facts, service descriptions, answers to questions and examples of tasks from you are especially useful to us.

What we do

We turn information into structure, choose how to present it, place the visual accents and connect the text with the composition. We bring your drafts into a form that reads well on a website. Writing all texts from scratch, photography or illustrations aren’t automatically included in the base price: we agree in advance which of these is needed and write it into the scope of work. How this is reflected in the price is covered in the article “How much does a website cost, and what does the price depend on?”.

You don’t have to write from scratch

Gather descriptions from social media, presentations, commercial proposals, replies to clients, photos and notes. Then together we decide what to take as is, what to rewrite and where specifics are missing. That’s often easier than inventing a website from a blank page.

How to prepare photos

Send images in their original quality and explain what’s in them and where you want to use them. Check that you have the rights to publish them. If there are no photos, we’ll discuss a photo shoot, licensed images, graphics or separate preparation of visual materials. The main thing is that the images don’t mislead visitors.

Content affects design

The length of sections, composition and number of pages depend on the copy and images. If you build a layout around placeholder text and then replace it with long, final copy, the design often needs reworking. That’s why we ask for at least a draft before the final build. The article “Why building a website in a day is a race you can’t win” explains why placeholder content can slow things down.

How not to get lost

Create a folder with a description of the business, services, answers to clients’ questions, photos and references. Separately note what’s still missing. More on this in the article “How to talk about your idea properly?”.

In short

We make the website together, but the sides have different roles. You bring knowledge of your business; we organise the information and present it clearly. Who prepares the materials is fixed before work begins, together with the scope and cost: the stages are described on the “Pricing & process” page.
